| 18 Months to 2-1/2 Years | Mommy & Me | Mommy & Me is a fun, interactive 30 minute class. Our warm up and stretch includes counting, singing and creative thinking. We also practice basic locomotor skills, play freeze dance and explore using props! |
| 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 Years | Creative Movement | Creative Movement is a 30 minute class that uses props and music to practice basic locomotor skills. |
| 3-1/2 to 5 Years | Pre-Ballet | Pre-Ballet is a 30 minute class that introduces basic ballet steps along with jazz dance. |
| 5 to 6 Years | Duo Combo | Duo Combo is a 45 minute class that is offered with two disciplines of dance: Ballet/Tap or Ballet/Jazz. |
| 6 to 8 Years | Trio Combo | Trio Combo is a 90 minute class that is offered with three disciplines of dance: Ballet/Jazz/Tap or Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop. |
| 8 – 18 Years | Group Classes | Group Classes are all 45 minute classes, unless noted. Classes are offered in Ballet/Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theater and Acrobats. |
Tuition Policies
Tuition is paid in nine equal installments throughout the year. All accounts will be required to have a credit/debit card on file at the time of registration. Credit/debit cards will run automatically on or around the 1st of each month, then on the 15th for any additional charges to your account. Tuition will not be prorated for Holidays/Breaks.
Class Placement
The instructors at Kibler Dance Academy will place students in classes most suitable for him/her. We strive to provide the best
learning environment for each individual’s needs. Students are placed according to their current stage of ability, physical and
emotional development, and age.
Class Attendance
To reach full potential in class, a student must attend on a consistent basis. We expect regular attendance from all of our students at
Kibler Dance Academy. Please make sure your child arrives approximately 5 minutes prior to their scheduled class time to ensure
preparation for class. Any student arriving 15 minutes after the class has started will not be permitted to participate in that class. If
as student must miss a class, please notify the Academy. Poor class attendance may result in dismissal from performances at the
discretion of the instructor. There are no credits or refunds for classes missed.
Class Cancellations
KDA will cancel morning and afternoon classes if Hudson City Schools cancel due to weather. Evening classes will meet on snow days with the exception of extreme conditions. If cancellation is necessary, a message will be left on the Academy answering machine, Facebook, twitter or an email will be sent. Evening cancellations will be before 2pm. Saturday morning cancellations will be made by 8:30am. Tuition will not be prorated for weather related cancellations.
Class Withdrawal
If a student must withdraw from classes, please notify the Academy in writing prior to the next month starting as you will be charged for classes until that time.
